David James is a founding developer of the Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF), which is the sister project to the Daily Erosion Project. He recently retired as a Geographic Information Specialist from the USDA-ARS National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment in Ames, Iowa. As a geographer by training, Dave has spent his career translating complex geospatial data into useful information for improved agricultural research and conservation. For the Daily Erosion Project, he offers professional input and guidance, as well as assistance with the project's data systems.
